William S. Ware - President

Billy Ware is a hands-on chief executive who became President/CEO of Mid State Construction in 1988. He has developed exceptional communications, problem-solving, value engineering and real estate development skills since joining the company in 1974. Many Owners have benefited from his understanding of construction techniques, design trends and their related cost when budget dilemmas have threatened the livelihood of their projects. He is actively involved with the Associated General Contractors of America where he has been recognized both locally and nationally. He has represented his colleagues on the State Board of Contractors for the past seven years and currently serves as Board Chairman. Billy is committed to supporting community organizations such as Goodwill Industries, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, the Mississippi Museum of Art, YMCA, Habitat for Humanity and numerous other local charities.

P.G. Bernheim - Executive Vice President - Operations

Mr. Bernheim provides executive project responsibility and is a point of contact for the Owner and the Architect. He has responsibility for all treasury functions, accounting, corporate planning and implementation. He supervises the efforts of the Project Managers and participates in the administration and interpretation of all contracts. He attends monthly reviews and develops project specific financial status reports to monitor job progress.

Mark T. Westbrook - Project Manager

Mr. Westbrook directs the construction phase of a variety of projects and is responsible for overall coordination of the construction team. He administers the contracts of sub-contractors, reviews submittals and assures verification of contract compliance. He initiates and directs monthly meetings and serves as a principal point of contact during the construction phase. Additionally he provides annual inspections during extended service periods.

Tony Head - Senior Project Estimator

Mr. Head is responsible for bid proposal development and the responses to Invitations to Bid. He generates preliminary estimates, budget and schedule updates and assist in the production of preliminary project schedules and the initiation of sub-contract buy-out. Additionally, his established sub-contractor relationships prove invaluable during value engineering procedures.
Mr. Head has over 20 years of construction estimating experience and has been with Mid State since 1999.

Keith Findley - Project Manager, Preconstruction Services

Mr. Findley is responsible for directing pre-construction services for projects utilizing Design/Build and Team Approach methods. He serves as the principal point of contact during the pre-construction phase and will coordinate efforts to facilitate contract negotiations, program confirmation and design presentations as well as reviews and approvals by governing bodies. Additionally, he will coordinate and manage contract document production including selection and administration of consulting engineers. Mr. Findley has over 20 years of document coordination experinece and has been with Mid State since 2002.

Paul Davis - Safety and Equipment Manager

Mr. Davis is responsible for directing and maintaining Mid State''s safety program which includes the implementation of OSHA standards as well as pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing. He conducts on site safety meetings, with Mid State field personnel as well as sub-contractors, where specific requirements and concerns are conveyed. Additionally, as Equipment Manager, he is responsible for assuring that all equipment is maintained in safe operational condition and that appropriate equipment with qualified operators is delivered to the job site.
Paul has over 20 years of construction experience and has been with Mid State since 1996.

Jason Parkes - Project Manager

Mr. Parkes directs the construction phase on a wide variety of projects including renovations and new construction. He develops and administers the contracts of sub-contractors, reviews submittals and assures verification of contract compliance. He serves as the principal point of contact and initiates and directs monthly project meetings. Mr. Parkes is a 1996 graduate of Mississippi State University with degrees in Industrial Engineering Technology and Business Administration. Jason joined Mid State in 2003.

Jason Crews - Project Manager

Mr. Crews directs the costruction phases of a variety of projects and is responsible for overall coordination of the construction team. He administers the contracts of sub-contractors, reviews submittals and assures verification of contract compliance. He initiates and directs monthly meetings and serves as a principal point of contract during the construction phase. Mr. Crews is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and has over 8 years of construction management experience. Jason joined Mid State in 2005.
